- Ask a local church to help promote Shapes Mentoring Program by hosting a booth or having one of the staff come speak in a service or small group meeting
- Contact the Shapes office to see if there are any needs that you can help meet for our youth or families such as:
- New glasses for a child or youth
- A new pair of shoes or clothes for school
- Scout uniform for a boy in Scouts or Royal Rnagers
- Uniforms, equipment, or other athletic fees for youth involved in activities such as cheerleading, little league, mighty mites, etc.
- Backpacks and school supplies for the school year
- Instrument rental costs for a youth in band or orchestra
- Luggage for children in Shapes that are in foster care
- Graduation cap & gown for our graduating seniors
- Prom dress or tux for our high school mentees
- School picture costs
- Summer camp fees
- Winter coats
- Bedding sets for Shapes youth in foster care
- Personal hygiene items for youth in foster care or Shapes families in need
- Laundry detergent and other household items for families in need
- Contact Shapes Mentoring during the holidays to see how you can help
- Provide tutoring for our youth for math, science, English, etc.
- Donate children’s books or teen books
- Donate gift certificates or discount coupons for movies, restaurants, game places, etc. to be used as giveaways for the Shapes matches to use on their outings
- Sponsor a match to go on our annual Silver Dollar City trip
- Talk to your co-workers, friends, family about Shapes Mentoring Program and consider getting involved!
